I'm very tired tonight. We've had a full day. I have lots of cute pics (family came to us), but I am way too tired to upload and edit tonight.
Jonah is still not feeling well and barely eating. I'm afraid we are on the road to dehydration but praying that will not be the case. His skin has some really bad spots right now (big spot running across his back, one of his underarms, and a big spot all the way around one elbow) in addition to his normal face, hands, toes stuff. Of course that makes the risk of dehydration greater. I didn't keep up with his wet diapers today, but plan to tomorrow. I'm trying to get an ounce of Pedialyte in him here and there, but he's not being very cooperative. And then when I do get him to eat a little or take a little Pedialyte, the coughing makes him throw it up half the time. Frustrating.
Anyway, I had been pretty relaxed about all of it, but tonight it started getting to me. He only ate about three ounces and maybe 20 cc's of Pedialyte and then puked it. Typically he has been taking eight to ten ounces per bottle. I know he's lost weight, but I don't even care about that right now. I just want to make sure he's staying hydrated.
We had a nice day today. My mom and siblings came for dinner. We hid Easter Eggs in the yard and Matt, Peyton, and Shaina played a couple games of H-O-R-S-E. Lots of eating and laughing. I was a little cloudy though... just sad that Jonah's not well and Gabe's missing out (or we're missing out on him, rather). Like I said, if Jonah can stay hydrated, we'll be alright, but I'm afraid if he doesn't pick up the eating or take the Pedialyte more willingly tomorrow, we may have some trouble.
Hopefully I'll have some good news tomorrow... but probably no photos until Tuesday. Tomorrow night is GriefShare.
