first time in the pool

Jonah's never even been submerged in a bath tub, so I did NOT have high hopes for his first time in the swimming pool.

First came the ridiculously thick layer of sunscreen.

He was not feeling it.

"Hmmm... I'm not so sure about this."

First touch...

"Hey, this is alright."

"This is AWESOME!"

All in...

"DADDY! This is the greatest!!!"

Learning to splash...

Floating...

Swimming...

I'd say it was a success. Today he was a little more skeptical because the water was colder, but once he got used to it, he enjoyed it. We only get to stay in about 20 minutes, and then it's directly upstairs for bath and dressing change. It's worth it though. He LOVES it.
