I'm going to keep this short tonight. Earlier this week, a sweet blog reader named Sue, from Tennessee, emailed me to tell me that her daughter was going to be participating in a photography class tomorrow in Concord. And then, she said that if I wanted to go, she would love to give me that class as a gift! Can you believe that? People continue to amaze me. So even though it's an hour and a half drive, I'm going. Because honestly, I need a day to do a hobby, something that's just mine. And I'm actually really looking forward to the drive too. I went to the library earlier this week (and, pathetically enough, had to sign up for a library card because I don't have one), and checked out a couple of books on CD to listen to. It's just a basic class exploring your camera, lighting, composition etc, and I'm really excited to get a few tips and learn my new camera better.
But anyway, to be in Concord by 9:00 am, we have to wake Jonah up at 6:00 to do dressing change, and I'll have to get up at 5:00 to get ready before we start. It's going to be a long morning (and a short night), but it's completely worth it. I'm really excited about it. Thank you so much, Sue.
